The relevance of Multimedia to Marketing

Business is the number one reason why people became rich. Having their own strategic communication and patience that keeps them up. The uniqueness of every promotion is the reason why people persuade to the product. Business is a very big world. You have to analyze even the smallest detail of the product you will promote. Also, people are so attractive into the tag line of every product they want to use. People are very much impatient on what will be the outcome of the product they’re using. Nowadays, almost everybody want is the instant. So if everybody just realized that all the character in the product that is being advertise is already white. For example for a whitening soap, of course advertisers will not get somebody who’s skin tone is tan, instead they will use somebody who’s already white so that the consumers will think that they can be white as the character in the said commercial. But in reality it takes years and much money before you achieve in that subject matter.

Multimedia is also one of the reasons why companies are gaining consumers. Online sales, online strategic, online advertisement and etc,. Multimedia is very powerful especially it is in demand. People tend to do all things via internet. Blogging works in the interweb so people can use these as information. Advertisement in the internet is more effective than in television. Advertising online is the easiest and one of the best to promote sales and gain more consumers. Giving people all the information to the said product before releasing it is one of the healthy routine in marketing. Having the easiest online form is one of the best, because people get easily bored when they have so many questions to answer for. Simple, yet attractive is the most effective in the multimedia industry. The uniqueness of the brand, style, and simple yet easy to understand are the things that sales gain fast.

Your consumer is the best advertisement you will ever do. And when the consumers are satisfied, they are expecting. Multimedia and demands change fast. So as you go further, you have to think different effective sales everyday in order to give your consumer wants. And sometimes, the first thing is having the cheapest sales when you are starting. People always find things that they can afford. Good, yet strong. Having freebies is also a way to give the consumers interest to the said product. Multimedia is very powerful, you just have to be creative and let your strategic ideas flow.

~*College Life*~ & Summer 2012

Like what the others said, college prepares you for the real world, which also sucks. Well that’s a fact. Though it’s very hard to accept that you no longer can do all the things you want. Your time is also limited due to your hectic schedule. And the fact that you’re not a high school student anymore to goof around with your studies. Nevertheless, you’ll enjoy the company of every new people you’ll meet. Especially your block mates or classmates, in the same course you choose. You’ll realize that even people has the same desire in choosing a course, personalities aren’t always the same. I also learned in my first year of being a Multimedia Arts student, you have to explore more and don’t stop learning new things. Accept every failure. Always think experience is more important than knowledge. Your experience can add up to your creative juices. Always focus your mind to the things you have to do first. Remember always, study and learning is your number one priority. (Of course in our age)

In my first semester in college and first five months in my course, I’ll honestly tell that I’m not in the mood of studying. I didn’t take it seriously. I’m like pa banjing banjing lang, more like procrastinating.  Well maybe I got lonely because I’m new in here (which in Calamba) at that time. And I did not reach the expectation I expect. I’ve been too emotional at that time. I think there’s so much confusion in my mind that I didn’t get to focused to my studies.  And as a punishment to my laziness in attending class in my other subject, I failed. I’m not proud of it. It’s really embarrassing, honestly. Still and all I don’t regret it. Because this serves as a lesson for me and something will motivate me to work hard or do my very best.

For my second semester, it’s quite fine. I start to focus in my studies, and get along with my other classmates. I think I’m more active this semester than the last. My failure did really hit me. I’ve been more productive and also got to participate in our Art Exhibit. I really push myself this time. Because in the end of the day, what I’m doing is still for myself and future. I made my Dad proud when he saw my grades last semester. It made me happy. At first he really didn’t believe, because I got the grade of 5 in my Physical Science in mid-term. Then he got surprised when I passed it. (Eh kasi Math) It made me happier too. Even my grades aren’t that high like the others, I still did my best and I know I deserved it. These things are just a realization for us students that when you step in college, you step in the real world. Yes, it’s very hard at first but you’ll get used to it. Especially in our course that you make puyat like 24 hours awake just to finished the things that you should did in the first place. And cherish the time that you’re still young. Be thankful also to your parents for all the hard work for us, especially to God that he always gave us second chances. Just don’t abuse it. Like what Drake said, You Only Live Once.

Yay! Finally, summer vibes! Honestly, my summer last April to May 2012 is more like NGA-NGA and KATUIN (kain, tulog, internet) which really sucks. NGA-NGA and KATUIN are my daily routine last summer. I really got sick of it because NO MONEY, NO GALA, NO FUN. Bored to death.  Enviousness attacks me, whenever I see pictures of others and having fun out of town with their friends and family. However, I did also enjoy my summer vacation because my high school friends planned to have a get together again. An overnight swimming and road trip to Tagaytay.  I’m happy I spent it with them. I really missed them so much. Actually, we’re together again twice last summer. Our friend planned to celebrate his birthday with us, which was last June 02, and we’ve all decided to stay in their house due to the heavy rain and also it’s late. Gladly, his parents are very kind and they let us stay until morning when it’s safe to go home. I think I really enjoyed it, because after a year of a busy and serious life, we got a chance to have fun again and get along with each other like in our high school days. :)

After that, we go to Subic because my Dad had appointment there. I came also because I don’t want to make NGA NGA again in the house. Even I’m just sabit there, I decided to go. It’s worth the effort even it’s very tiring because of the long drive before you get there. And all I did there is eat and eat and eat again. Life is good!

Oh, and I forgot..  my Birthday which was last 25TH of May. It’s sort of boring, seriously. I wanted to celebrate with my friends but we’re still tired up that day. And I got a new puppy, named (B.T. – Batugang Tuta) Betty. I gift from my Dad. I named her Betty, because she doesn’t bark. It will only bark if she has enemy like frog, insects, etc. That is smaller than her. And she’s very naughty. Actually, this dog is my stress reliever. ^^

And after a year of a Multimedia Arts student, like what I said in my first paragraph, experience and failure are always your strength to your next challenge in life. Do not be afraid to voice out in what you know that is right. Also take the chance to show off your talent. Shyness can destroy your dreams. Even you failed at least you try and give your best shot. For what I expect this school year, same old expectation in college life, it’s not going to be easy. College life is like a rough road, but don't stop in walking onto it because you'll never know in the finished line what price it will be. But as I expect for myself, I’ll be more productive and I’ll do my best to keep my shyness away. I will not let my shyness destroy my dreams. I also expect to myself, that from now on I will avoid procrastination. I know this 1st semester will be so hard for me, because I overload my units. If I need to be awake for like 24 hours just to finish my works, I will.

Blog #09 Contemporary Art

Contemporary Art was also a breakout period for abstract art. As what Ms. Anna said, Doodle Art is also part of Contemporary Art. As we can see, it's also an abstract. Also another way of depicting an Contemporary Art. But for us teenagers, we called it Doodle Art. Especially when boredom strikes. Another way of teenagers of how they express their feelings through their artistic way.

Like what Ms. Anna said, "Minsan yung mga artwork na wala lang. Kahit wala naman talagang meaning yung ginagawa nilang painting." Or kahit ano na lang. May magawa lang.

Abstract Expressionism emphasized the depiction of emotions rather than objects. Most painters of the movement favored large canvasses, dramatic colors, and loose brushwork. Abstract Expressionists saw painting as a pure expression of emotion and means of visual communication. The philosophy of Abstract Expressionism searches for answers to the questions of human existence. It addresses personal psychological battles, the external struggle between man and nature, and the hunt for spiritual comfort. All of these concepts were expressed through abstraction, finding meaning in relating the act of painting with a release of subconscious feelings and desires.

As I notice in this Contemporary Art, this is the Art where you can just have fun. At kahit anong painting, drawing, at kung ano man na hindi maintindihan ng tao o titingin ng artwork mo e, Abstract ang pwedeng itawag dito.

Blog #08 20th Century Art

I have noticed that this period, almost all of the paintings are abstract and 3d base like. Among the movements which flowered in the first decade of the 20th century were Fauvism, Cubism, Expressionism, and Futurism. Painting with oil on canvas continues to be a favored choice of serious painters because of its long-lasting color and a variety of approaches and methods. Oil paints may have been used as far back as the 13th century. However as a medium in its modern form.

Artists in the twentieth century chose two distinct ways to depict modernism and the excitement of progress, realism and abstraction. Western Artists of the 20th century are; Georgia O'Keeffe, Maynard Dixon, Eanger Irving Couse, Nicolai Fechin, Henry Farny. These artists made significant contributions to the Western Art Scene in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many of these artists added something new or left a strong, signature style in the Western art world.

Blog #07 Modern Art

So as the group discussed Modern Art, it was also related to the period of our topic, Renaissance. Also related to the Baroque period. The motion, drama, and feelings of every paintings.

The modernization start in this period, from the word Modern Art. Modern artists have established a style of painting that is very unique and fresh to them. We could say, their depiction of how they see life and the world around them comes through their art in a very diverse and mixed form. They have a direct bond between their eyes and hands enabling them to portray emotions or the truth as they see it. Coupled with philosophy and inner vision, modern artists could be seen as messengers using abstraction for communicating hidden meanings of life.

Modern art complexes the way we interact and see art because it keeps our mind in the unknown. There are very many meanings associated to different paintings throughout history and some may contain truths or messages. This would probably give us clues about the journey the artist went through when creating the work and meanings would remain embedded within.

Blog #04 Renaissance

Renaissance is a french word meaning, rebirth. It was a cultural movement that spanned the period roughly from the 14th to the 17th century. This period Renaissance being viewed as a bridge between the Middle Ages and the Modern era. The origins of this period has emphasize about Latin and Greek phases of Renaissance humanism, Social and political structures in Italy, Black Death/Plague, and Cultural conditions in Florence. We all notice that this period has all the characteristic of Humanism, Art, Science, Religion, and Self-awareness especially in their painting and sculptures. This period spread through all Northern Europe, Germany, and France. Indeed the Middle Ages had a civilization and culture of their own. Ancient customs and numerous wrong notions imprisoned this culture. The Renaissance upset these traditions at many points, and by using certain old ideas built up a new civilization.

The Renaissance did not consist so much in a change of subjects of study as it did in setting up a new viewpoint from which well-known facts may be considered. Languages, philosophy, art, government, and religion were studies as fields in which to make discoveries and critical comparisons.

Blog #02 Greek and Roman Art

Many times, when a person admires or respects something of another person's, they just can't help but create something similar for themselves. This idea carries over into cultures, as well, like that of Rome and Greece. When it came to art, the Greeks were extremely inventive and respected. So much so, in fact, that the Romans did not see a point in creating a whole new kind of art for themselves, when they could simply borrow that of the Greeks, who had already done the job so well. However, along with many similarities between the art of these two cultures, there were also some differences, due to Romans adding onto or altering certain aspects of the basic Greek formula.
